Tasty cuisine to tempt your tastebuds
My friend Robin enjoys cooking and from time to time has given me recipes for some of his favourites. He has kindly agreed to share some of these and will add a few here from time to time.
His motto is - The secret to good cooking is the quality of the ingredients.

Recipe for Grandma's Stuffing

A delicious stuffing for use with turkey or chicken. My kids call it Grandma's stuffing as my Mum used to make it. But really the recipe comes from her mother so has been in the family for generations. It can also be used to stuff green/red peppers.
1 lb. sausage meat, one medium onion (finely chopped), 3 cloves garlic (finely chopped), salt and pepper (to taste - but be generous), 3 tablespoons sage & onion stuffing, one egg.
Mash all the ingedients together and make sure well mixed. I usually just whizz the whole lot together in a food processor.
You need to stuff the bird between the skin and breast. Start at the back end and slowly work your hand between the skin and the breast until the skin is separated from the breast.
Stuff and then cook as normal - adding 20 minutes to account for the extra 1lb of sausage meat.
