Tasty cuisine to tempt your tastebuds
My friend Robin enjoys cooking and from time to time has given me recipes for some of his favourites. He has kindly agreed to share some of these and will add a few here from time to time.
His motto is - The secret to good cooking is the quality of the ingredients.

Recipe for Spaghetti Bolognese

This delicious Spaghetti Bolognese recipe serves 2 people.
200 grams mince
1/4 teaspoon chopped dried basil
1 red pepper (chopped small)
1 small onion
2 cloves garlic
olive oil
tablespoon of tomato puree
red wine
1 can chopped tomatoes
chopped fresh basil (large handful)
Parmesan cheese
Take the 1/4 teaspoon chopped dried basil, red pepper, small onion and 2 cloves garlic and fry in olive oil for 10 minutes on a low heat.
Add the mince and a tablespoon of tomato puree and fry for 2 minutes.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Add the can chopped tomatoes.
Add large slug red wine.
Cook for approx 2 hrs on a very low heat, add wine or water as necessary to stop it drying out.
Cook pasta
2 minutes before the pasta is ready add a large handful of chopped fresh basil.
Serve with grated fresh parmesan on top.
