This history is taken from the book “The Passing Years” published in 1989 by the Holsworthy Local History Centre headed by the late Peter Bakel.

It was originally published in century order (see search one at top of page), but as there are over 700 entries I have added category searches to enable finding information more easily. Some of these are a little loose but it should make searching easier.

Most entries relate to Holsworthy but some are included to remind us what was happening elsewhere at that time.

No guarantee is given to the accuracy of all these entries, in fact a few are confusing and may need further research, but it gives an overall picture of Holsworthy's history over a long period.
