1879    Holsworthy Viaduct opened.
1883    Act of Parliament passed to allow building of the Holsworthy to Bude railway. (Acts 46 & 47).
1898    22nd March. Derriton Viaduct opened, the first work of such size to be built of concrete.
1898    August. Holsworthy to Bude railway opened.
