1537 1537-1543 George Day (Dey), Rector of Holsworthy. He was brother to the Bishop of Winchester, Provost of Kings College, Cambridge and became Bishop of Chichester in 1543, Almoner to the Queen in 1545, and was involved in the Translation of The New Testament. He also helped draw up the first English Prayer Book. Instituted at Holsworthy on September 22nd.
